To All Texas AGC Members,

I want to personally invite each of you to join Sherry and I at this year’s TBB Convention. The Convention will be held July 13-16, 2008 at the historic Homestead Resort in Hot Springs, Virginia in the beautiful Allegheny Mountains. The Resort is “grand” in every sense where you will be welcomed to an easy, effortless kind of luxury.

The Homestead is many things. It is a sporting playground for the whole family, or a quiet retreat. It is really up to you. Explore the many activities on the Homestead website at www.thehomestead.com.

Aside from the many personal or family activities, we will have opportunities to visit socially as well as discuss several very important statewide issues affecting our businesses.

You will note that we have made one change in the traditional agenda. We will be holding a celebration dinner on Tuesday night to highlight the Safety and Building Awards.

We have held the registration fee to a level consistent with recent past conventions. I hope that you will take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to network with your peers from across the State.

Transportation to The Homestead
The Roanoke Regional Airport in Roanoke, Virginia is the nearest airport (75 miles) to The Homestead Resort.  The resort does provide an in-house system of transportation to and from the Roanoke Regional Airport. Reservations are required 48 hours in advance. For transportation prices as well as to make reservations please call the resort Transportation Department at 540-839-7711.
