Pocket Digest Of OSHA Construction Standards (Contractors Quick Reference Guide)
QUOIN has available to members the Pocket Digest of OSHA Construction Standards (Contractors Quick Reference Guide). The digest was compiled to aid employers, supervisors and safety personnel in their efforts toward reducing the potential for fatal accidents and injuries, as well as OSHA compliance.
While the digest does not contain all the Construction Safety and Health Standards, selection of those that are presented was based on two significant elements: (1) those standards most frequently overlooked by the employer, and (2) standards covering situations that are particularly hazardous in nature. The booklet also contains (1) a brief discussion of the essential elements of a generally applicable safety and health program; and (2) a Self Inspection Checklist.
This booklet is only a digest of basic applicable standards and should in no way be considered as a complete substitute for any provisions of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, or for any standards promulgated under the Act.
