QUOIN's Education and Research Foundation is a non-profit Foundation designed to support our Chapter’s
relationships with the higher education community and in particular,
Region V Universities. The Foundation is currently endowed at approximately
$300,000 and its operations support the successful workforce development
and recruitment programs that are popular with our members-namely,
interview day, student competition, student and faculty scholarships,
and construction science department grants.
Over the past few years, this operating Foundation increased its
visibility and national prominence when our long-standing student
competition program was introduced and modeled at AGCA’s National
Convention. It is now a regular feature of this annual meeting of
our industry.
Through the generous support of our members and their sponsorships
plus additional funds contributed by the Chapter, this Foundation
stays active throughout the year in serving our industry and local
communities.
Education and Research Foundation Sporting Clay Shoot
On April 18th, QUOIN’s Education and Research Foundation held the Annual Sporting Clay Shoot. Baker / Triangle was the title sponsor and the event had over 85 participants. All proceeds from the Clay Shoot benefits QUOIN’s Education and Research Foundation (a non-profit Foundation designed to support our Chapter’s relationships with the higher education community and in particular, Region V Universities). The Foundation supports the successful workforce development and recruitment programs that are popular with our members-namely, interview day, student competition, student and faculty scholarships, and construction science department grants.
Congratulations to the winners
