TEXO’s Education and Research Foundation

TEXO's Education and Research Foundation is a non-profit Foundation designed to support our Chapter’s relationships with the higher education community and in particular, Region V Universities. The Foundation is currently endowed at approximately $800,000 and its operations support the successful workforce development and recruitment programs that are popular with our members-namely, interview day, student competition, student and faculty scholarships, and construction science department grants.
Over the past few years, this operating Foundation increased its visibility and national prominence when our long-standing student competition program was introduced and modeled at the Associated General Contractors of America’s National Convention. It is now a regular feature of this annual meeting of our industry.
Recently, the Foundation established a new Vision and Mission for the organization as we move closer to our goal of a $1,000,000 Endowment Program. We encourage your sponsorship and your continued generous support as we stay active throughout the year in serving our industry and local communities.

Vision

“THE source of funding and support for the construction education community.”

Mission

“Through our endowment we develop innovative programs,
provide scholarships, offer educational grants, which build loyalty
and commitment from educators, students, and members.”
