Contractor Development Alliance (CDA) —
Mentor/Protégé and Incubator Program
Contractor Development Alliance is an alliance of the construction industry and the major Minority and Woman Owned Business associations, chambers and supporters across the DFW Metroplex. The Board and Officers of Quoin have made it possible for CDA to offer services to MWBE businesses through their determination, enthusiasm and financial support. CDA’s mission is to increase the capacity of MWBE businesses to support our industry.
CDA launched its Mentor/Protégé program in April of this year. Six Mentor companies and six MWBE protégé companies have been working together to set goals for their relationships and make plans for achieving those goals. CDAs Mentor Protégé program involves considerable oversight of the developing relationships by CDA committees, a factor that differentiates the program and is aimed at ensuring its success.
On July 12th CDA rolled out its Incubator program. Six MWBE companies from across the Metroplex were invited to join the program. Three are now resident in the CDA offices at the Quoin building on Stemmons Freeway, two are in Fort Worth and one in Arlington.
